Mopani Ironwood M

Mopani ironwood in size M (35–50 cm) is a heavy natural product that is ideal for decorating aquariums and terrariums. This wood, which originates from Africa, is characterised by its extreme hardness and durability.

Natural appearance and texture

Every piece of Mopani wood is unique. The characteristic two-tone structure with light and dark shades is created by gently sandblasting the surface. This process removes bark residues and brings out the striking grain without distorting the natural character.

In aquariums, the heavy ironwood usually sinks to the bottom immediately due to its high density. It serves as a valuable colonisation surface for beneficial microorganisms and provides aquarium inhabitants such as catfish with important dietary fibre through gnawing on the wood. Usage instructions:
